City Renews Naming Rights Partnership with Yara Belle Plaine
December 2, 2022
Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to announce a renewed naming rights agreement with Yara Belle Plaine for the Yara Centre recreation facility.
Yara Belle Plaine has held naming rights to the facility since January 1, 2013, when they entered a 10-year, $500,000.00 agreement.
The renewed agreement is under the same terms and will be in effect January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2032. Under the agreement, the City will continue to receive $50,000 annually from Yara Belle Plaine which greatly enhances the programs and services that can be offered at the Yara Centre.
The Yara Centre is a multi-use recreation facility which opened in 2011 and offers users the opportunity to experience sport, culture, and recreation in both competitive and non-competitive environments. The facility boasts a 65,000 square-foot indoor turf field, a 365m four-lane track and a fully equipped fitness centre.
“The City of Moose Jaw is excited to renew the naming rights partnership with Yara Belle Plaine and we extend our thanks for this commitment,” said Mayor Clive Tolley. “Yara Belle Plaine’s generous contributions help promote active lifestyles and a #Notoriously strong quality of life in Moose Jaw. The Yara Centre provides many recreational opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities, and we look forward to the positive impact this renewed partnership will have on our community.”
