January 6, 2021
MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw will utilize recent funding from the provincial government to construct crosswalk lights in front of the Kinsmen Sportsplex.
The City will purchase solar-powered crossing lights and additional signage at the high-traffic pedestrian crossing on MacDonald Street, following the announcement of a $14,479.00 grant from the Provincial Traffic Safety Fund. The Fund, administered by SGI, is derived from the proceeds of photo speed enforcement.
The City anticipates the new crosswalk lights and signage will be installed by the end of May, 2021.
