Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw has received $10,000 from Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart Relief Fund.

In September, Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities announced an $8 million sport relief fund to offset challenges presented by COVID-19, so that sport and recreation organizations and facilities could continue to deliver programming.

“We recently received confirmation that we are amongst 668 sport and recreation organizations nationally to be provided with grant support through Jumpstart’s Sport Relief Fund,” said Mayor Fraser Tolmie. “We are beyond grateful to receive this news and know how positive an impact it will have on our ability to continue to provide recreation programming in Moose Jaw.”

The City is utilizing the Jumpstart funding to help cover the additional operating costs associated with COVID-19 safety measures within our  recreation facilities.
