MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw congratulates the Communities in Bloom Committee on new initiatives to help beautify Moose Jaw.

At a media event Thursday, May 5, the CIB committee announced that their 2022 project would involve beautifying the entrance to the city on Thatcher Drive East, near the Tourism Moose Jaw Visitor Centre. This project will involve installing new shrub beds around the existing trees. A planting day will be held on June 18 to celebrate National Garden Day.

CIB also announced a partnership with Tim Horton’s for a multi-year plan to enhance the green space near the Tourism Moose Jaw property, starting with this year’s planting.

The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to support CIB initiatives, and Tourism Moose Jaw, by providing watering services to establish the shrub beds planted as part of this project and ongoing support and guidance to the local CIB committee.
