Moose Jaw – The City of Moose Jaw is providing residents with fitness tips to implement while at home while COVID-19 restrictions are in place.

The City of Moose Jaw urges residents to adhere to self-isolation restrictions imposed by the provincial government but encourages all to find ways to stay active at home if possible. Some of those tips include:

  • Warm up by marching around the house while swinging your arms.
  • Soup cans or filled water bottles can substitute as weights.
  • Wear proper footwear.
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Turn up the music and have fun!

Additionally, Community Association fitness instructor Rita Beth has filmed an instructional video with a series of stretching exercises.

The City of Moose Jaw will continue to offer operations and services-related COVID-19 updates on www.MooseJaw.ca and the new City of Moose Jaw app, which can be found in the Apple and Google Play app stores.
