The City of Moose Jaw advises that the Canadian flag at City Hall has been lowered to half mast in remembrance of the Battle of Vimy Ridge, which occurred April 9 – April 12, 1917.

“The Battle of Vimy Ridge remains a defining moment in Canada’s history,” said Mayor James Murdock. “I encourage residents to take a moment for solemn reflection today, to honour the courage, sacrifice, and unity of those Canadians who served their country.”

The flag will be lowered to half mast until sunset on April 9, 2026.
