City of Moose Jaw Employees Win Saskatchewan Public Works Awards

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw is proud to announce that two City employees have been recognized by the Saskatchewan Public Works Association (SPWA) for outstanding contributions.

At the 2022 SPWA convention (February 22-24 in Saskatoon), Staci Dobrescu, Public Works Supervisor – Water, was given the Gerry Wheeler Memorial Award for making a “valuable contribution to the SPWA”. Dobrescu is currently President of SPWA.

Additionally, Jason Trzaskowski, Public Works Supervisor – Streets & Roads, was given the award for Public Works Person of the Year. According to the SPWA, the Public Works Person of the Year award recognizes “outstanding service to the profession, the public and the SPWA by an individual who truly exemplifies the public works official.”
