City, Moose Jaw Firefighters Association Sign Three-Year Collective Agreement

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw and the Moose Jaw Firefighters Association have agreed to terms of a collective bargaining agreement.

Highlights of the agreement include:

  • Three-year deal covering 2019-2021.
  • 2.5% per year wage increase.
  • 0.5% increase in pension contribution on a go forward basis.

“We’re very pleased to reach this agreement with the Firefighters Association,” said Jim Puffalt, City Manager. “We appreciate the work of our Moose Jaw Fire Department and look forward to productive and respectful bargaining in the future.”

The Moose Jaw Firefighters Association is the union representing 45 firefighters with the Moose Jaw Fire Department.
