Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw is happy to announce the 2020 Summer Play At Home program.

“Due to a number of factors related to COVID-19 we aren’t able to offer our traditional playground program,” explained Scott Osmachenko, Recreation Services Manager, “so we got creative and designed a program that encourages safe and engaging activities for local families.”

The 2020 Summer Play At Home program will run for eight weeks, starting July 6, 2020. Program highlights include:

– Activities and ideas to do at home or outside will be posted on the shacks at our parks.

– Programming in neighbourhood parks (unsupervised).

– New themes every week.

– Activities will be planned reflecting the physical distancing guidelines such as Sidewalk Chalk, Obstacle Courses, Scavenger Hunts and others.

– Equipment will be provided to encourage physical activity.
