MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is inviting residents to get “Notoriously Active” next month.

June is Recreation and Parks Month, and the City of Moose Jaw has launched a contest for residents to showcase themselves being “Notoriously Active” around Canada’s Most Notorious City.

The City has created an activity calendar, and residents are invited to take selfies doing any of the activities, then post the pictures on social media. Tag the City of Moose Jaw on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and use the hashtag #NotoriouslyActive for a chance to win free Family Recreation passes to City recreation facilities.

“I’m proud to proclaim June as Recreation and Parks Month,” said Mayor Fraser Tolmie. “I encourage Moose Javians to explore our trails, Parks, facilities and the multiple recreation possibilities in Wakamow Valley, and get Notoriously Active in June.”
