City Invites Cultural Stakeholders to Participate in Cultural Plan Survey

MOOSE JAW – Are you an organization, business, individual artist, crafter, or creator?
Do you provide cultural programming, services, and activities in Moose Jaw?
The City of Moose Jaw is taking steps towards developing a Cultural Plan for our community and we want to hear from you.
The City’s Cultural Plan Project Planning Team has created a short survey about the state of culture in Moose Jaw and the cultural programs, services and activities you provide. The survey will assist in the development of a Cultural Resource Inventory Map while identifying key observations and cultural themes.
This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and while results will be shared with the community, all participants’ identities will be protected. The survey will be active through December 10, 2021 and can be accessed with this link.
Background:
The goal is to develop the Moose Jaw Cultural Action Plan in four phases:
- Research Phase – Initial Community Engagement and Mapping (2021)
- Engagement Phase – Community Engagement on Short & Long-Term Strategic Goals and Action Items (2022)
- Development Phase – Culture Plan Development and Adoption (2023)
Implementation Phase – Culture Plan Implementation and Evaluation (2023/2024)
