City Hiring Municipal Election Workers
MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is now accepting applications for Municipal Election workers. The City is conducting the Municipal & School Board Elections on Monday, November 9, 2020. There are also 7 Advance Polls set during the weeks prior to Election Day (from October 29 – November 5).
The City is currently seeking to fill the following positions:
- Poll Supervisors
- Deputy Returning Officers (Ballot receiving officers)
- Poll Clerks (Ballot issuing officers)
Past election experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided.
Application forms and information about remuneration, job descriptions and important dates are available online at https://moosejaw.ca/2020-municipal-school-board-elections/ or at City Hall – Commissionaire’s Desk – from Monday to Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Completed applications will be accepted through the online application process, or by filling out a paper application and emailing to cclerk@moosejaw.ca or dropping off at City Hall on or before 4:00 p.m., August 20, 2020.
