City Hiring By-Election Workers

MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is now accepting applications for Municipal By-Election workers. The City is conducting a Municipal By-Election for the Office of Mayor on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. There are also four Advance Poll dates scheduled during the week prior to By-Election Day (October 26, 27, 28 and 30).
The City is currently seeking to fill the following positions:
- Poll Supervisors
- Deputy Returning Officers (Ballot receiving officers)
- Poll Clerks (Ballot issuing officers)
Past election experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided.
An online application form and information about remuneration, job descriptions and important dates is available with this link. Application packages may also be picked up at City Hall from the Commissionaire’s Desk Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Completed applications will be accepted through the online application process, filling out a paper application and emailing to elections@moosejaw.ca, or by dropping off at City Hall on or before 4:00 p.m., September 20, 2021.
