Moose Jaw, SK – Today is the official launch of Moose Jaw Marketplace, an online shopping portal featuring Moose Jaw businesses.

Users can visit and shop over 50 Moose Jaw businesses, put all of the items they want to purchase in one cart, and pay with one transaction.

The Moose Jaw Marketplace is the result of a collaboration between the City of Moose Jaw’s Economic Development team and the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce.

“The idea for the Marketplace sprang out of economic recovery discussions during the Chamber of Commerce COVID-19 Think Tank meetings,” explained Jim Dixon, Manager of Economic Development for the City of Moose Jaw. “We were looking for ways to assist our business community during the pandemic, and realized that an easy way for customers to shop local stores online would be beneficial. We were happy to help fund the creation of Moose Jaw Marketplace to make it safe and easy for our residents to shop Moose Jaw businesses.”

“We’re thrilled with how the Moose Jaw Marketplace has come together,” said Rob Clark, CEO of the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce. “We thank the City for their partnerhsip, and also thank WOW Factor Media, Maureen Latta and Grant Rowson for their contributions. We’re excited that the Marketplace is online so Moose Javians can go Christmas shopping from their couch.”

The Chamber of Commerce will be responsible for the long-term management of the Moose Jaw Marketplace, and if you would like your business on the site, email:
