CIPP Sewer Lining Project Will Temporarily Impact Traffic & Water Usage

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises the public that Contractors will be performing CIPP sewer lining in several areas and temporary traffic restrictions will be in place during the project.

The project is expected to begin on April 2nd, 2024.

A list of the locations that will be affected by CIPP Sewer Lining in 2024:

  • Grandview St. W – 7th Ave. SW to 8th Ave. SW
  • Wolfe Ave. – Oxford St. E to Mid-Block North of Hall St. E
  • Duffield St. W – Skipton Rd. to 4th Ave. SW
  • Coteau St. W – 9th Ave. SW to 12th Ave. SW
  • Clifton Ave. – MacDonald St. to Lane Way
  • Algoma Ave. – Caribou St. W to Mid-Block to the North
  • River St. E – 1st Ave. NW to Lane Way
  • Main St. N – Manitoba St. E to River St. W
  • Scott St. – Coteau St. W to Duffield St. W
  • Skipton Rd. – Coteau St. W to Grandview St. W
  • 16th Ave. NW – Back Lane (Caribou Heights) to Caribou St. W
  • Pascoe Dr. E – Rutherford St. to Pascoe Cr.
  • Hochelaga St. W – 7th Ave. NW to West Mid-Block
  • Home St. E – 1st Ave. SE to 2nd Ave. SE
  • 13th Ave. NW – 1 Segment
  • 4th Ave. NW – Fairford St. W to Hochelaga St. W

The affected areas will be temporarily restricted for traffic while inspections and lining occur. The project is expected to be completed by Friday, June 28th, 2024.

Residents/businesses affected will receive a notice with information pertaining to the lining work. The lining work requires sewer service connections to be sealed off for a period of a few hours. If a notice is received, please follow the provided water usage limitations for the outlined period.

All drivers are asked to obey signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone. No more #NotoriouslyCloseCalls.
