Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to announce that Canadian Tire is proceeding with their new development on Thatcher Drive East.

On Monday, November 9, 2020, Canadian Tire informed the City they have removed conditions from the agreement with the City and are satisfied with all “due diligence relating to the acquisition, servicing, development, sustainability and feasibility” of their proposed new store.

On April 27, 2020, Moose Jaw City Council authorized the execution of a Revival and Amending Agreement with Canadian Tire.

“The City is very pleased with this news from Canadian Tire,” said Fraser Tolmie, Mayor. “This is a tremendous display of confidence in the Moose Jaw economy, and validates why we fought so hard to save this development when others lost faith. These types of developments require patience and time, but it’s worth the effort to see a local business like Canadian Tire expand.”
