Moose Jaw – Building Permit numbers in the City of Moose Jaw are holding steady during uncertain economic times in 2020. 24 Permits were issued in May, compared to 23 in the same month in 2019.

To date, 84 Building Permits have been issued in 2020, matching the total between January-May 2019.

There were no new housing permits issued last month, compared to two in May of 2019. There have been five new dwelling permits issued so far in 2020, compared to 13 in the same time period last year.

Additionally, the total value of Permits issued in 2020 is $5,185,508.00, compared to $8,259,065.00 between January-May, 2019.
