MOOSE JAW  –   The City of Moose Jaw is advising residents that boulevard tree block pruning will begin on Monday, March 28, 2022. Boulevard trees on the 900 Block of 2^nd Ave NE and the 900 and 1000 block of 3^rd Ave NE will be pruned by Green Drop Ltd between March 28 and March 31, 2022.

Pruning will begin on 2^nd Ave NE. Vehicles should be moved from the front street of the 900 block of 2^nd Ave NE prior to 7:30 am on March 28. As pruning progresses, trees will be posted with no-parking signs the day before pruning is to take place. We thank you for your cooperation.

Residents on the blocks being pruned may experience temporary power outages. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Block pruning is an important component of maintaining the health and safety of our urban forest. Boulevard trees will be pruned to promote healthy and safe growth of the trees and provide appropriate clearance over streets, sidewalks, and private property.
