
Accessibility Support Recreation Membership Applications Open

MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to announce that Recreation Membership Applications are now open for the newly adopted Accessibility Support Program.
Accessibility Support Recreation Memberships allow support persons of those with disabilities free access to City recreation facilities and are a component of the City’s Accessibility Support Policy, approved by City Council December 7, 2020.
“The key principles that informed the development of the Policy include full participation, equality of opportunity, opportunity for independent living, and economic self-sufficiency,” said Derek Blais, Director of Parks and Recreation. “We would like to thank the City’s Special Needs and Parks, Recreation and Facilities Advisory Committees for their input into the Policy, and we thank City Council for adopting the Policy.
