Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that on Monday, August 31, 9th Avenue SW between Hastings St. and Highway 363 intersection will be closed to traffic.

The closure is needed to allow for a new water valve and hydrant replacement/installation project.

Heavy trucks will be detoured to 24th Ave SW (via 363). All other northbound vehicles can utilize 16th Avenue SW (via 363).

Additionally, on Tuesday, September 1, crews will depressurize the water line along 9th Avenue SW between Hastings St. and 15 Wing Moose Jaw. The shutdown will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Once water has been restored, customers will be under a boil water advisory for three to five days. Customers will be notified once the advisory has been lifted.

Any residents unsure if they are in the affected area can view the Boil Water Advisory map from the Maps page at www.MooseJaw.ca.

Detours will be in place and the City asks all drivers to obey posted signage and exercise caution in the construction zone for the safety of everyone.
