Advance Poll Numbers Ahead Of 2016 Pace

Moose Jaw, SK – 577 votes in the City of Moose Jaw’s 2020 Municipal Election were cast through the first three days of Advance Polls.

Advance Polls began Thursday, October 29 and continued October 30 and 31 at Moose Jaw City Hall. 202 votes were cast October 29, 203 on the 30th and 172 on the 31st, for a three-day total of 577. Through the first three days of Advance Polls in the 2016 Municipal Election 398 votes were cast. In total, 1,224 votes were cast at Advance Polls in 2016. 2020 Advance Polls continue through Thursday, November 5.

157 votes were cast across the 15 Special/Mobile Polls on October 31st, compared with 343 at Special/Mobile Polls in 2016.

In the 2016 Moose Jaw Municipal Election, 22 Mail-in ballots were received. As of November 2 there have been 328 Mail-in Ballot requests for the 2020 Election. Mail-In Ballots are to be filled out and returned to City Hall no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 9 and will be tabulated that night.
