2026 Infrastructure Renewal Program Week 5 Update

MOOSE JAW, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that the 2026 Infrastructure Renewal Program (including water main replacement) is progressing and has entered its fifth week.
The 2026 program includes the replacement of approximately 1.9 km of cast iron water main and 1.5 km of feeder main at the following locations:
- Coteau Streetfrom 4th Avenue SW to 2nd Avenue SE
- 1st Avenue SEfrom Coteau Street E to Lillooet Street E
- 5thAvenue NW from Caribou Street W to Saskatchewan Street W
- Pascoe Drive Efrom Pascoe Crescent to 13th Avenue NW
- Henleaze Avenuefrom MacDonald Street to Laurier Street
Coteau Street W continues to be closed to traffic between 4th Avenue SW and 2nd Avenue SW. The 4th Avenue SW/Coteau Street W intersection is open, but the 3rd Avenue SW/Coteau Street W and 2nd Avenue SW/Coteau Street W intersections are closed.
Transit Stops for Route #4 – Westmount have the following changes:
- The stop at the southeast corner of Coteau Street W/4thAvenue SW is closed, with passengers asked to use the stop on the southwest corner of Duffield Street W/4th Avenue SW
- The stop at the southwest corner of Coteau Street W/Tapley Street is closed, with passengers directed to a temporary stop located on the southwest corner of Duffield Street W/Tapley Street (one block south)
The east leg of Pascoe Crescent, from Pascoe Crescent to Rutherford Street remains closed.
Beginning on Monday, May 25, Pascoe Drive E will be closed from Rutherford Street to 13th Avenue NW. The intersection of 13th Avenue NW and Pascoe Drive E will remain open, with all other intersections in this new work area closed.
Drivers are reminded to obey all temporary traffic signage and exercise caution in construction zones to keep everyone safe. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.
