Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw has announced details of the 2026 Infrastructure Renewal Program.

The program will include the replacement of approximately 1.9 km of cast iron water main and 1.5 km of feeder main at the following locations:

  • 5th Avenue NW from Caribou Street W to Saskatchewan Street W
  • Coteau Street  from 4th Avenue SW to 2nd Avenue SE
  • 1st Avenue SE from Coteau Street E to Lillooet Street E
  • Pascoe Drive E from Pascoe Crescent to 13th Avenue NW
  • Henleaze Avenue from MacDonald Street to Laurier Street

In addition to water main replacement, the Infrastructure Renewal Program includes other services such as road renewal, and the replacement of sanitary and storm sewers and sidewalks.

New for 2026, Infrastructure Renewal work will be delivered by both the City’s Engineering Department and Public Works Department. Historically, this capital project has been managed solely through Engineering; however, beginning this year, Public Works will complete a segment of renewal as part of the City’s broader approach to managing aging underground infrastructure.

Engineering, through contractor PME Inc., will undertake the projects on Coteau Street , 1st Avenue SE, 5th Avenue NW, and Pascoe Drive E, while Public Works will deliver the Henleaze Avenue project.

The City has directly communicated with impacted property owners to provide information on this year’s Infrastructure Renewal Program.
