Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that the 2023 Water Main Replacement Program is ongoing.

Water main replacement construction has been completed on Duffield St., while crews continue to work on Fairford St. West. Water main replacement is occurring on Fairford St. between 5th Avenue and 8th Avenue NW. Contractors are currently on the 700 block, with the 8th Ave and 7th Ave intersections closed to traffic.

The City of Moose Jaw reminds residents that all area businesses remain open during construction and access will be available where possible. Due to the nature of construction and minimal secondary access options, some locations may be temporarily inaccessible during construction. The City of Moose Jaw apologizes for any inconvenience. The current Fairford St. closures in effect:
o Eighth Ave NW intersection – closed
o Seventh Ave NW intersection – closed

The City will continue to issue weekly updates as the program progresses and drivers are reminded to obey all temporary traffic signage and exercise caution in construction zones for the safety of everyone.
