2023 Paved Roadways & Sidewalks Update – July 20, 2023

Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw is pleased to provide an update on 2023 Capital paving and concrete projects.

Paving on Athabasca Street West from 2nd Avenue NW to 5th Avenue NW is ongoing and will continue through the week of July 24-28, weather permitting. Alternate transit routes will be in place on Stadacona Street West for the duration of this project. Additionally, contractors will begin milling and paving settlement locations on High Street West the week of July 24-28, starting on the 800 block. Contractors will move east as work progresses and traffic will be restricted where active work is being completed. The entire project is expected to take up to two weeks to complete, weather permitting. All businesses will remain open, and residents will have continued access to sidewalks throughout the project.

Concrete work will also begin the week of July 24-28 on the 100-300 blocks of Ross St. East, with paving to follow the first two weeks of August. There will be reduced traffic while the project is being completed.
