Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw is advising property owners and residents that concrete and paving projects are ramping up with some high traffic areas to be impacted.

Concrete work on Avens Road has wrapped up with crews completing landscaping. Weather permitting, paving will commence the week of June 19.

Additionally, concrete demolition continues on Athabasca St. W. from 2nd to 5th Avenue. Contractors will complete the project in two phases. The first phase, concrete demolition, is nearing completion and is expected to finish June 16. Paving is still anticipated to take place in July.  Bus routes on Athabasca St. will be impacted during the duration of this project and alternate routes have been arranged. Additionally, crews start ramp replacement at the intersection of Main Street and Caribou St., and Main Street and Hochelaga St. the week of June 12, weather permitting. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane with signage in place for a reduced speed.
