June 21, 2021Moose Jaw, SK - Mayor Fraser Tolmie has proclaimed June 21, 2021 at National Indigenous Peoples Day in Moose Jaw. In addition, the City has lit the City Hall clock tower orange in remembrance of the 215 Indigenous children whose remains were found at the site of the former Kamloops residential school. Crews will begin work at the north end of Langdon Crescent and Athabasca St E. and proceed to other areas throughout the intersection. Work will consist of new pedestrian ramps, crosswalks and upgraded traffic signage.
