Heritage Award Nominations Open

 

MOOSE JAW - The City of Moose Jaw advises that nominations have opened for the Heritage Advisory Committee’s 2018 Heritage Awards.

Each year, the City’s Heritage Advisory Committee celebrates Moose Jaw individuals and businesses that have made efforts to celebrate and preserve our city’s heritage through various projects.

The Heritage Advisory Committee is comprised of one member of City Council, one member from the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce, and four citizens-at-large. Their mandate is to provide the City with policy advice and recommendations on matters respecting:

  • designation of municipal heritage properties or districts;
  • the development or alteration of heritage properties; and
  • any other heritage property related matter that is referred to the Committee.
