Moose Jaw, SK – The City of Moose Jaw advises that the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) will be conducting a Reinspection Program for residential properties in the city between April 2026 and December 2026.

SAMA will inspect a portion of Moose Jaw every year, with inspections in 2026 continuing in Neighbourhood 30 (as shown in the images below). Reinspection in Neighbourhood 30 is a multi-year process, which began in 2025 and is expected to continue through 2027.

If a property is set to be reinspected, SAMA will send a letter to the property owner informing them of the process.

These are physical, on-site inspections, with SAMA staff clearly identifiable by SAMA decals on their vehicles and visible photo identification.

During these on-site inspections SAMA staff:

• Review data visible from the exterior of the property, including taking exterior photos.
• Enter the backyard of the property to review outbuildings, decks, and other structures
• Ask questions to the homeowner/occupant, if available.
  • If no one is home, SAMA staff will leave a notification hanger on the door handle or in the mailbox.

Any changes to properties identified through the 2026 review will be reflected in the property’s 2027 assessment value.
