MOOSE JAW, SK – Saturday, September 20 has been declared “Community Clean Up Day” in Moose Jaw.

The City of Moose Jaw’s Community Clean Up Committee is inviting residents to come together and pitch in to pick up garbage in all areas of the city on September 20 between 10 am and 1 pm.

The Clean Up event will begin at 10 am with registration from the Purposed Financial parking lot (81 Athabasca Street W), and the Community Clean Up Committee will supply garbage bags.

Participants are invited to join us for a “thank you” barbecue sponsored by the Moose Jaw Co-op from 11:30 am to 1 pm.

Any resident or group interested in participating can register at the start of the event at the registration table. If you will be bringing a large group, 10 or more people, please email: cleanup@moosejaw.ca prior to the event and let us know.

All Moose Javians are invited to participate and be sure to post pictures and use the hashtag: #CleanUpMJ.

This is the second Community Clean Up Day this year, with the first being held on May 10.
